Use these steps to start a workflow with companies sourced from local business listings, technology/hiring signals, e-commerce data, or your own website’s visitor tracking.

Search companies from Google Maps

Finds businesses on Google Maps by search term and location. Settings

Setting	Required	What it controls
Search query	Yes	The business term to search for (e.g. “dentist”, “coffee shop”).
Location for search	Yes	Where to search — an address, area, or a drawn polygon.
Maximum number of companies to import	No (default 100)	Caps how many businesses are imported.
Import companies that are permanently closed	Yes	Include businesses Google Maps marks as permanently closed. Off keeps results limited to active businesses.
Import companies without a domain	Yes	Include businesses that don’t list a website in Google Maps. Off keeps results limited to businesses with a domain.

Output: the imported companies, ready for enrichment or actions.

Search companies from TheirStack

Finds companies by the technologies they use, powered by TheirStack. Settings

Setting	Required	What it controls
TheirStack options	Yes	The technology filters the search matches against.
Maximum number of companies to import	No (default 100)	Caps how many companies are imported.

Output: the imported companies, ready for enrichment or actions. Requirements: TheirStack data is included; each import consumes Enginy credits.

Import companies from Website Visitors

Imports the companies identified as visitors of your website.

This step is auto-managed: it’s added to a workflow by the Website Visitor intent-signal trigger, gated on your website tracking configuration, and can’t be added manually from the step list.

Finds e-commerce stores on StoreLeads by platform, sales, location, and more. Settings

Setting	Required	What it controls
StoreLeads filters	No	Platform, sales, location, and other filters the search matches against.
StoreLeads selected domains	No	Import a specific, hand-picked list of store domains instead of running the filtered search.
Maximum number of companies to import	No (default 100)	Caps how many stores are imported.
Company list	No	Adds the imported companies to this list, in addition to passing them to the next step.

Output: the imported companies, ready for enrichment or actions. Requirements: StoreLeads data is included; each import consumes Enginy credits.

Search companies from TheirStack Jobs

Finds companies that are hiring for specific roles, powered by TheirStack. Settings

TheirStack job options	Yes	The job/role filters the search matches against.
Maximum number of companies to import	No (default 100)	Caps how many companies are imported.
Maximum job postings	No	Caps how many job postings are considered per company.
